2011 Track Information

Our goal is to provide you with an evening of the most competitive and exciting racing possible, at a facility we can all be proud of.  The following is some information that can help make your visit more enjoyable.

Regular Show Gate Times   (For special events see schedule page or poster on home page.)

Pit Gates open 4:30 p.m.
Grandstands 5:30 p.m.
Hot Laps 6:30 p.m.
Racing 7:30 p.m. sharp 
Our goal is to be over no later than 11 p.m.

Tickets are sold day of event only no advance ticket sales (except World of Outlaws show).

 

Pit area is a restricted area which requires a pit pass purchase before you may enter.  Anyone may purchase a pit pass but if you are 17 or younger, the minor and their parents/guardians must fill out a minor’s release.

 

If you need to leave during the night be sure to get your hand stamped and have your ticket stub or you will not be allowed back in without paying.

 

Plenty of FREE PARKING! When parking, please do not block anyone in.  All vehicles must be REMOVED by NOON on Saturday.

 

Handicap parking (use the Walnut Street Pike entrance) is available south of the rest rooms; you must have a handicap sticker.

 

Seating is general admission only, no reserve seating.  We have bleacher seating or you can bring a lawn chair or blanket and set on the grassy hillside.

 

No vehicles, lawn chairs, blankets, etc. allowed until 5 p.m. Thursday before a race (we enforce this time). Please park close, back in STRAIGHT and do not save additional spots. No caution tape, rope, stakes, etc (they will be removed). Leave a lawn chair or leave a vehicle (no early vehicles on WOO show). Vehicles left after the races must be picked up by Noon on Saturday.

 

All patrons must clear race track grounds prior to gates opening (no exceptions).

 

Tune in to 99.1 on your FM dial to listen to our announcers.

 

Please respect other race fans.  If you should have a disrespectful fan by you, please notify security.

 

Rest rooms are located behind the tower.  They start out clean at each race, if there are any problems, please notify the tower.

 

Coolers allowed but NO GLASS!

 

For the Safety of everyone:

No Pets allowed

No Firearms allowed

No Fireworks allowed

No Grills on the hill/grandstands (Once you enter through the top or bottom ticket booth this is considered the hill/grandstands)

No Fires except in bottom parking lot while camping must be in container, no open fires.

 

 

A Concession Stand is available with excellent food at reasonable prices.  We serve a variety of sandwiches, fries, nachos, popcorn, soft drinks, hot chocolate, coffee and great soft serve ice cream!  Sorry, we do not sell alcohol.

 

Visit the Souvenir Trailer for a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, ear protection, coolie cups, kid’s toys, and more!

 

Camping Guidelines & Information

Free overnight camping for race patrons only.

Try to back in along tree line or property line, unless full.

Take no more space than you actually need.

No Grills on the hill/grandstands (once you enter the top or bottom ticket booth this is considered the hill/grandstands)

No open fires, they must be in a container.

No Fireworks or ATV’s.

Quiet time starts at 1 a.m.

Disrespectful campers will be escorted out.

Gates are locked at Noon on Saturday.

2011 Rain Check Policy: (revised 03/11/2011)

In the event of inclement weather the flagman will halt the races.  If, in the opinion of the track officials, the inclement weather is sufficient to cancel the remainder of the racing events racing will not resume.  If the halfway point in the program has been completed (heat races and B-mains), rain checks will not be honored.  If the halfway point in the program has not been completed, rain checks will be honored at any event ran in the same year excluding the World of Outlaws race.  NO REFUNDS.  Rained out features will be made up.  Your ticket stub or armband is your rain check and your responsibility.  We are not responsible for loss or theft of your rain check.  If you choose to use your rain check at an event with a higher admission you will have to pay the difference. Does not apply to Union Night Tickets, Union Tickets will be honored on the rain date for Union Night only.
